Another silent attempt by the government slides to bring us ever closer to a Socialist State is by allowing the military to detain civilian suspects indefinitely without charge or trial. This permission is incorporated into the National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, and will be passed unless the silent majority makes some noise.

Congressmen Adam Smith and Justin Amash are attempting to pass an amendment to prevent the military from having the unchecked authority to arrest and indefinitely detain civilians without charging or trying them. Support their actions by sending an email to your congressmen. If you don’t know who they are or how to find them go to Demand Progress and with your name and zip code they can help you send an email. It’s quick and painless.

This is the simplified explanation. From wiki the following explanation of the Act:

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2012[1] was signed into United States law on December 31, 2011, by President Barack Obama.[2][3]

The Act authorizes $662 billion[4] in funding, among other things “for the defense of the United States and its interests abroad.” In a signing statement, President Obama described the Act as addressing national security programs, Department of Defense health care costs, counter-terrorism within the U.S. and abroad, and military modernization.[5][6] The Act also imposes new economic sanctions against Iran (section 1045), commissions reviews of the military capabilities of countries such as Iran, China, and Russia,[7] and refocuses the strategic goals of NATO towards energy security.[8]

The most controversial provisions to receive wide attention are contained in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled “Counter-Terrorism.” In particular, sub-sections 1021 and 1022, which deal with detention of persons the government suspects of involvement in terrorism, have generated controversy as to their legal meaning and their potential implications for abuse of Presidential authority.
One cannot fully understand how the privilege of issuing parking tickets, by your local government, is abused in the name of generating revenue. Parking tickets are a good thing when issued for the purpose of controlling the flow of traffic. BUT when issued for the sole purpose of generating revenue, under the guise of controlling traffic, THAT is morally, legally, religiously, and all other types of wrong you can com up with. In this book, the author talks about what you can do to avoid having to pay for underserved parking tickets.Click HERE for your FREE copy of the ebook Pay no more undeserved Parking Tickets
